“Austin was very inspirational to have at my summer jazz camp. My students were dazzled by his playing and creative energy, but it was also his way of explaining and expressing his thoughts and techniques that truly captivated them. He shared personal experiences of his growth as a saxophonist and improviser with both warmth and wit. Our program was very fortunate to have had him visit, with the information still resonating with them many months later.”Matt Sawyer, Assistant Director of Bands and Jazz Band Director at Paschal High School in Fort Worth, TX
